In the USA, basketball is more than just a sport, it is an institution. The same kind that, like baseball or American football, unites millions of spectators and viewers around the world

The Cleveland Cavaliers or Cavs is the Cleveland-based basketball team.

Founded in 1970 with first coach Bill Fitch, the club plays its home games at Quicken Loans Arena (now at The Rocket MortGage Fieldhouse). The Cavaliers play in the Eastern Conference and face the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks in the Central Division.

Throughout their history, the Cleveland Cavaliers have seen the evolution of several players selected for the NBA All-Star Game, such as Austin Carr, Brad Daugherty, Ilgauskas or Mark Price and LeBron James.

Apart from a Central Division championship title in 1976, the team did not enjoy any major success until the 2000s, although it was considered one of the most promising teams in the 1980s.

In 2003, the arrival of four-time NBA MVP LeBron James helped the Cavaliers win two Central Division championships (2009, 2010) and a Eastern Conference championship (2007). His return in July 2014 after leaving for Miami led the club to a second Eastern Conference title in 2015, and then to an NBA championship in 2016.

It is also in the Quicken Loans Arena that legend Lebron was born. During the 2009/2010 season, he achieved his best average of points per game: 29.7.

It’s not easy being a Browns fan, and it’s not new. So many disappointments, I would even say disillusionments have marked the history of the Ohio franchise that it has become almost pathetic. Worse, recent history seems to be getting to the top of the game since the last play-off appearance was in 2002, in other words, an eternity.

Cleveland Browns is the National Football League (NFL) football team based in Cleveland. They have been playing at FirstEnergy Stadium since 1999.

The Cleveland Browns franchise was founded in 1946 and joined the NFL in 1950.

They are one of four teams that have never played in the Super Bowl with the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions. Before the Super Bowl, the Browns were crowned NFL champions in 1950, 1954, 1955 and 1964.

In 2017, they became the second team in NFL history (after the Detroit Lions in 2008) to complete a season with a 16-game winless record.

The Browns’ helmet is orange and has the distinction of having no logo, unlike any other NFL team.

$20million has been invested to upgrade the stadium. Giant screens worthy of the most beautiful stadiums and escalators to access the stands have been added.

Cleveland Indians is the Cleveland baseball team playing in Major League Baseball. Nicknamed The Tribe.

The Indians franchise was founded in 1900 as Cleveland Lake Shores and has been operating at Progressive Field since 1994.

Players such as Lou Boudreau, Bob Feller, Addie Joss, Nap Lajoie, Tris Speaker, Cy Young and Satchel Paige wore Indians colours, helping the franchise win the World Series twice in 1920 and 1948. By the 1960s, however, the Indians’ reputation was that of a losing team. This situation lasted until the mid-1990s.

They were American League champions in 2016. They participated in the 2016 World Series.
